What is a phobia?

We call phobias a sort of fears that we realize are irrational or
exaggerated but we can’t help but reacting. It’s sometimes rather frustrating if it stops us from leading a normal life, for instance if we are terrified of flying or driving. In other cases it becomes an anecdote of our character and doesn’t give us too much of a hard time, as people who are terrifies of snakes, even of the word snake: they will not usually bump into one or hear the word…..
Phobias can be treated with success. It’s essential to learn how it was created, then
treatment becomes obvious.
